Walk to Leith

This is the water of Leith, a small hidden waterway which passes through the center of Edinburgh. Unbelievably quaint.

This is called St.Bernard's Well, a romantic 'temple' featuring the statue of Hygeia, godess of health. It marks the site of a mineral well, built when the area was still rural.


This is Leith, where the water opens up into the Firth of Forth. This used to be the major port for the area, and after some rough times it is now being revitalized.
